Lake Garda is private communities open to and for the enjoyment of association members community. As members, you and your family can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, fishing, boating and walking in the Lake Garda community. Association members are home or lot owners who have purchased property located in the Towns of Burlington or Farmington delineated and described on a certain map entitled “Map of property sold by Lake Garda Company, Inc. to Ron-Day, Inc. revised May 1936 and on file in the town clerk’s office in the respective towns. The governing body is The Lake Garda Improvement Association Board of Directors as defined by the by-laws adapted by members of the association at a general meeting held October 1946 and amended in October 1976, January 1980, May 1980, March 1982, March 2003 and October 2014. Harry immigrated to New Britain, Connecticut from Italy shortly after the end of World War I. He founded a construction company and prospered here in Connecticut.
