Board Meeting Minutes: March 8, 2022,
7:00 pm, Farmington Community Center
Board Members:
Present: L. Gezelman, C. Castrogiovanni, A.J. Singh, R. Frey, M. Duchow, R. St. Pierre, C. Scully
Absent: H. Monerrat, C. Contreras, J. Craigin, P. Anthony
Quorum present: Yes
Proceedings:
- Meeting called to order at 7:10
- Vote to approve February meeting minutes. Motion made by R. Frey, Second by A.J. Singh
- The President solicited items for new business.
Treasurer’s Report: The treasurer’s report was presented by A.J. Singh.
Tax Collector Report: Report was presented by M. Duchow.
Lake Report: Payment sent to The Pond and Lake Connection for treatment of the lake with additional treatment of Bull Pond. They will secure the permit from the state. Treatment will begin as weather permits. Lee will contact Chip to send an e blast to the members on lake level for clean up along with lake going back up first weekend of April.
Encroachment Committee: no report
Event Committee Report: no report
Old Business: N/A
New Business:
2022-23 Budget / An in-depth explanation by A.J. Singh of 2 proposed budgets, one for $200.00 per year and the other $250.00 per year. (see handout). Discussion of low income seniors price adjustment or not. Motion by R. St. Pierre to raise the fee to $250.00, second by M. Duchow, A.J. Singh abstained. Motion passed.
The President spoke about:
*Trees that need cutting.
*He will get back with the town on the lot on Pleasant St.
*Clean up near Cheryl’s house.
*He will get with Chip on the Newsletter.
*The final decision on the budget to be determined by LGIA members at the General
Meeting in April.
Motion to adjourn the meeting by A.J. Singh, second by R. Frey. Meeting ended 7:55.
Next meeting April 12 at 7:00 Farmington Community Center
